    1. Bianca Blythe Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the The Wrong Heiress for Christmas (Matchmaking for Wallflowers Book 6) book, this is one of the most wanted Bianca Blythe author readers around the world.

    2. 3.5 stars I would like to thank the author for a copy of the book for free in return for an honest review. The wrong heiresses for Christmas is the 6th book in the matchmaking for wallflowers series. It can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. The series is based around a pamphlet called Matchmaking for wallflowers that is aimed at debutantes trying to capture the perfect husband. All of our heroes appear within this pamphlet before they are swept away by their brides-to-be. Frederi [...]

    3. "And one does want to know which colors are in fashion.""Green and red," cook said sternly. "It's Christmas.""The Wrong Heiress for Christmas" is a festive story contains every bit of the sweet, quirky fun that I trust author, Bianca Blythe, to deliver. The story follows the romantic plight of Celia, a maid and unacknowledged half-sister of the marriage-ready daughter of the estate. Bearing a striking resemblance to her half-sister, she is forced as friend and servant, to continue a case of mist [...]

    4. This is a story with similar characteristics from Cinderella.--------------------------------------Celia Jones was more accustomed to scrubbing the floor than to live in the great ballroomsEarl's illegitimate daughter with the housekeeper, she knew it was a daily reminder to Lady Fitzroy of the infidelity of her late husband. Celia was very much like Lady Theodosia Fitzroy, and the two were about the same age.Lady Fitzroy wanted to make an advantageous marriage to her daughter with the Duke of S [...]

    5. This was really a bit far fetched, even for a romance novel. A duke marries a maid who is also illegitimate. Anyway it was kinda funny and cute. It's not a novel I will read again but it really made me laugh. The villainous stepmother was a great caricature and so were the half sister and her dandy French suitor. I laughed a lot reading this novel. The H was different from the norm however. He was the tall, sexy, scientific nerd type rather than the hunky alpha hottie. But I did like him a lot. [...]

    6. Lord Frederick Bowen, Duke of Salisbury, is expecting an heiress for Christmas. The fact does not bring him pleasure. Ever since he returned from the war, he would rather focus on experiments for his new waterproof material. Celia might be the daughter of an earl, but she's of the illegitimate variety. She has resigned herself to life as a maid for the wicked countess and her two half-sisters. When Celia's half-sister Lady Theodosia begs her to pretend to be her, Celia finds herself in a fairy t [...]

Ever since the war ended, he would rather focus on experiments for his new waterproof material. A commonerCelia might be the daughter of an earl, but she's of the illegitimate variety. 8. What a charming love story! 5 starsI spent a delightful afternoon, reading Bianca Blythe’s 6th story in her Matchmaking for Wallflowers series. Is love possible between Frederick Bowen, the Duke of Salisbury and the sweet and beautiful Celia, a maid for a wicked countess? Well, in ‘The Wrong Heiress for Christmas’, anything is possible! What a romantic story to enjoy, it was a real delight to follow Frederick and Celia. A must to read! You won’t be disappointed! So so romantic! It tells t [...]

    9. 2.5 starsI had such high hopes for this novel, especially in the beginning. I love a good star-crossed/forbidden romance, and this novel had the added perk of an extra helping of mistaken identity. But as the story progressed, I couldn't help but get caught up on certain eccentricities of the characters and writing. Blythe's writing style is a bit odd in that she lists sentences. One after another. For effect. Or simply because. She's trying to make the chapter. Longer. Much longer. But it came [...]

    10. A charming Cinderella story, The Wrong Heiress for Christmas touches the heart. Celia Jones, born on the wrong side of the blankets, grew up in the Earl's household, had the same education as his other daughter, but when he died she was left bereft and penniless and she ends up as a servant in her father's household. When her sister is sent to meet the Duke of Salisbury, Celia goes as her companion, but Lady Theodosia has other plans and they don't coincide with her mother's. Once they arrive at [...]

    11. The Wrong Heiress you say? How could that be? A delightful story of an illegitimate daughter of an Earl never having expectations to marry above her station. Celia Jones is just that girl and treated as a servant to her father. Growing up with her half sister, Lady Theodosia Fitzroy, Celia has to accompany Theo on a trip to visit Lord Frederick Bowen, the Duke of Salisbury. Of course, Theo's mother wants her to make a match with the Duke, but she has other ideas. She is going to elope with a man [...]

    12. I’ve loved all of Bianca Blythe’s Matchmaking for Wallflowers series books and The Wrong Heiress for Christmas, number 6 in the series, is no exception. A fun Regency period romantic comedy it works beautifully. I loved both leads, Celia and Frederick, and the supporting cast is superb, both “veterans” (i.e couples who starred in earlier books in the series - though that’s not important for anyone reading this one standalone) and newcomers. I liked that while there is a bit of a Cinder [...]

    13. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review. There’s something about the reserved elegance and measured language of historical romances, when they are well-written, that speaks to a part of me that nothing else can reach. No, I would never want to go back in time to live in that period, but I do so enjoy reading about it.Duke Frederick, dubbed the “Mad Duke,” has sworn he will not get entangled with any woman, particularly one who has her sights set on his position. He is prepared t [...]

    14. Lord Frederick Bowen is the Duke of Salisbury and sort of a recluse, more of an inventor than a man about town going to balls and dancing waltzes. His main concern was to win over the Inventors Association, after the fiasco.Celia is the illegitimate daughter of an Earl but treated more like a scullery maid. Her sister Theodosia is to be thrown at the Duke at his Christmas house party, her mother wanting to make a match with the duke. Theodosia has different plans she means to elope with the man [...]

    15. This was an engaging story concerning the illegitimate daughter of an earl, Celia, who was employed as a maid in his household. Since the earl died Celia has not been treated very kindly by the earl’s widow. Whilst away at a house party at the Frederick, the Duke of Salisbury’s home she is persuaded by her half sister, Lady Theodosia, to pretend to be her. This brings her to the notice of Frederick, who becomes smitten with Celia. Can this possibly have a happy ending? Not only is Celia a ma [...]

    16. This is a book that will warm your heart! Celia is beautiful and smart but born into a situation she does not deserve nor have any control over. Frederick is a Duke that would rather be in his science laboratory than attending his duties. A meeting that never should have happened changes both of their futures.Once again, Ms. Blythe has written a wonderful story that keeps the reader eagerly flipping the pages hoping that the heroine and hero will get their happily ever after. I adored the book.T [...]

    17. I've read several stories wherein two young women exchange places - more or less willingly. I think this was the most believable as far as the exchange going without notice. Here we have half-sisters who bear a strong resemblance. The legitimate one has already found her love. At the house party Celia is torn between being dishonest with her host by not revealing her true identity and protecting her sister from the scandal of elopement. The duke is considered an eccentric, but he cares little fo [...]

    18. Well written book with great storyline and plot. A sweet book that has great romance. The story is true to it's time period and the language is also. I like when an author has made research about the time period they want to write the story in.I love the couples journey towards their HEA. There is drama, family issues, passion, emotions and some twists. Instant attraction. I like the supporting characters. It has a slow start but it gets better within the first 3-4 chapters. I like stories where [...]

    19. Don't miss this delightful storyBarring the Christmas setting, this is truly a Cinderella romance. It would be delightful in any season.Celia Jones is the illegitimate daughter of Lord Fitzroy, but since his death, she has been the maid of Lady Fitzroy and her daughters. Subjected daily to hard work and constant belittling, she cannot hope for more.Lady Fitzroy hopes to make a match between her daughter Theodosia and the Duke of Salisbury. She sends Theodosia and Celia to Yorkshire to the Duke's [...]

    20. I was gifted a copy of this book. Blythe’s Matchmaking for Wallflower series is a wonderful foray into Regency era life and romance. So far I have enjoyed every single book. This one “The Wrong Heiress for Christmas” is my favorite out of all of them. Celia is a maid in the Fitzroy household, but she is also an illegitimate daughter to the deceased Earl Fitzroy. It is a lovely Cinderella type story but with just enough twists and turns in the plot to keep the reader guessing. Can’t wait [...]

    21. This is the sixth book in the series and can be read as a stand alone story as well. It flowed great and was a quick read for me. I read it in one sitting and is one of my favorite books by Bianca Blythe so far. I enjoyed the romance and how the differences in social class was used in this story. A sister in love convinces her "maid" and step-sister to become her so she could run off on her own romantic adventure. The Duke and she fall in love only for him to find out she is not who he thought s [...]

    22. I like very much this book with its unique storyI love the romance, the strong characters, some a little silly, but so full of life and questions… But at the end love will solve everything. It is a sweet romance what you will love and entrainment you until last page.I hope to read soon a new story by this author.I received this book from the author and this is my voluntary and honest review.

    23. I received this book as a gift from the author and I chose to review it. I thought this was a great book to read during the holiday season. Frederick is an earl that falls in love with Celia, who is the illegitimate daughter of an earl. The author does a wonderful job developing the characters.

    24. FunNo matter the station in life the heart Longs for love and home with caring and kindness and this story Proves that happiness can be found.
