    2. RATING: 4.5 STARSA Place Beyond is book three in The Danaan Trilogy by Laura Howard. I think this was my favorite book of the trilogy. I love the growth of the main characters. Allison has come so far. Aoife is the youngest sister of the royal family of the land of fair folk, Tir na n’Og. The King and Queen are preparing to step down and their older daughter, Niamh will be taking over as Queen. Aoife is not happy with this arrangement and will go to any lengths to become Queen herself. Many ha [...]

    3. Omg omg omg omg she did it again. This story is amazing and I still love the characters they just keep sucking me into their lives and who they are. They make me want to know more and know what is happening. I felt with them, their love, pain and everything in between. I loved the plot of this one also. is just simply an amazing story and I cannot wait to see what else Laura Howard has in her mind!

    4. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.*The much awaited third book with the climax of the fight of her life!! Allison has laid everything on the line and is trying to fight for her mom, her dad, Ethan, and the rest of the Danaan people. She has sacrificed so much for this fight and to become the person that everyone thinks that she is. So many things have gone wrong and she's lost so much but can she do it? This was such a great conclusion to the trilogy. It was emotio [...]

    5. WARNING: If you have not read the previous books in this series, there will be unavoidable spoilers in this reviewProceed at your own riskA Place Beyond by Laura Howard is the conclusion to her series the Danaan Trilogy and picks up shortly after the end of book two. Allison is lost, her father is dead, her mother can never be cured, and her grandfather is sick. The only light she has is that she is not in this alone. She has Ethan, who loves her. She supposedly has the Fair Folk, but who of the [...]

    6. Beyond Expectations!Once again, Laura Howard wrote a story where the pages zipped by leaving you surprised you were already at the end. Allison's struggles mount as she seeks a way to protect those she loves while being forced into a harrowing decision that leaves her miserable. Her relationship with Ethan continues to evolve as he acknowledges feelings for her and promises not o leave her side. Loss, heartache, turmoil, heartache all of it culminate in an ending that is not what you'd expect bu [...]

    7. 4 Stars. A paranormal romance abounding with action and cruelty. Not all fairies are cute and they certainly aren't harmless.

    8. I fully enjoyed the last few months of reading the first two books in the Danaan trilogy – The Forgotten Ones and Stone of Destiny. After reading the second book, I was extremely excited to read the final book in the trilogy just to see what Laura Howard had in mind for some of my favorite characters of the summer – emphasis on some – because I was hoping for something huge, spectacular, and out of this world. Of course, I have high expectations for the last books of a series. You guys are [...]

    9. Ah. The conclusion to the Danaan Trilogy, A Place Beyond by Laura Howard was a great period to a long and suspenseful sentence.Allison finds out that Liam, her father, is not dead as she'd thought, but imprisoned by Aoife ill and getting worse every moment. His condition, unfortunately, is in direct connection with her mother's who, like Liam, is not feeling well.Aoife puts a curse on Allison in an effort to derail Niamh and Aodhan's relationship and to ensure the rule of Tir na n'Og once her ow [...]

    10. Reviewed on Lili Lost in a BookAllison still can't believe what happened to her father when they went to fight Aoife. What Allison doesn't know is that the fight isn't over, and this time it means succumbing to Aoife and not helping her mother,or beating her. For good.I'll tell you why it took me a while to get to this book: I just didn't want the series to end! It was SO good! The Irish mythology with the fairies and magic, the wonderful world and amazing characters, and my favorite, the ROMANC [...]

    11. I received a copy of each of the three books in exchange for an honest review.I read all three instalments of The Danaan Trilogy back-to-back and so there review was originally posted as part of a series review over on the blog but here I've posted them individually A Place Beyond - As the final book in the Danaan series A Place Beyond has the responsibility of having to hold and wrap up the entire series. Overall I felt as though Howard does a good job concluding the series and answering some l [...]

    12. A Place Beyond is the final book in the Danaan Trilogy. This book picks up immediately where the last book left off. Aoife is still up to her old tricks. She's very unhappy with the fact that her sister is set to be ruler of their land. Nothing can stop her from getting what she wantsAllison on the other hand is lost. Her father is dead and her mother will never be cured. Now her grandfather is sick. Aoife will have one more trick up her sleeve and that will have Allison questioning everything s [...]

    13. I love trilogies for the fact that we, the readers, really get to know the characters in the story. I felt like Allison and Ethan became my friends and I truly cared about what happened to them. A Place Beyond was the perfect ending to this great trilogy! 'So many lives in my hands and it settled like a lead cannon in my stomach.'Allsion has to do the unthinkable in order to save her mother and father. She's not sure she can do it but she has no choice. She is on her own and she has to make it h [...]

    14. Firstly I would to thank Laura for kindly providing me with a copy of A Place Beyond to read and reviewI love this series.Laura is becoming a new favourite of mineA Place Beyond, picks up immediately where the last book left off. Aoife is still up to her old tricks, meddling with the lives of Allison and those that she loves close to her. Both Allison and Ethan have to travel back and forth between the human world and the magical land of Tir na n’Og. Whose side is the King and Queen really on?W [...]

    15. ***I received a free copy for an honest review***Note: This review contains NO spoilersI am just reeling at this epic conclusion to The Danaan Trilogy! A Place Beyond was a topsy-turvy journey between two worlds as Allison struggles and fights to save those she loves. Of course, it is important to read this trilogy from the beginning since The Forgotten Ones and Stone of Destiny (book 1 & 2, respectively) sets up the entire setting for this dramatic conclusion. I mean seriously, I was brough [...]

    16. I am reviewing this trilogy as a whole because I buzzed through it all at once without being able to stop! That right there tells you how amazing it is! I was addicted from the first chapter. I have a huge fascination with anything concerning Irish so the Tuatha de Danaan immediately intrigued me. Allison is such a kind and loving person, she would do anything to take care of her mother. And then there's dreamy, sexy Ethan. He's always been part of her life and she can't imagine being without hi [...]

    17. Allison’s tale of the Danaan comes to an end with the third book in this series. The tale began with a sudden appearance of her long lost father. She had always thought he had just left her mom pregnant and broken hearted, but his arrival brought light onto the real reason he left. Poor Allison had to deal with a new found father, half sister and her father’s scorned ex lover that is doing everything in her power to keep her mother and father apart. Now it’s up to her and some new friends [...]

    18. This book has sat on my kindle since shortly after its release date, so why has it taken me so long to get round to reading it? I hear you ask quite simply because I just wasn't ready to finish up this trilogy. The writing style that drew me in so completely with the first two books was so very present in A Place Beyond, and once again Howard wowed me with her descriptive text that truly makes you feel as though you are right there on the page with Allison and her friends.I was a little disappoi [...]

    19. Irish fairy fantasyI read this in August, just before I was going on a trip to Ireland and it really got me in the mood for my trip to the very lush green island! This story is about fairy's and the mystical world that lives along side our reality. Sort of a "Harry Potter" of sorts. This first book takes us to the reality of fairies with the heroine finding out that her dad is one. The second book deals with more of the injustices that have occurred and what they can do about it. And finally the [...]

    20. This book is really good. I have loved first two books and this one was even better. This month I have been lucky enough to read some of the best fantasy books including this one. I loved the whole story and the way characters are developed. Also I loved the way writer has portrayed emotions and feelings, readers can't help but feel all of them along with the main characters of the book. Its true that fantasy is my preffered genre but even if it weren't i'm sure I'd still have loved these books. [...]

    21. Well the climax was a disappointment. As I mentioned before, the plot itself wasn't bad, the execution however needed work. Not sure if this was suppose to be a YA novel, I hope it was because it read like one.The chemistry between the main character and Ethan was blah, then things were done in the fey world that just didn't sit well with me. It just wasn't realistic at all. I kept reading just to see how it would all end.

    22. I could not possibly be more thrilled with the way Laura Howard ended the Danaan Trilogy with A Place Beyond. This entire trilogy was so full of angst and suspense, I had difficulty envisioning the HEA. This book 3 was done so well, that the transition between evil mystery and everlasting love was seamless (and flawless). Howard has an incredible ability to draw me in and not let go. Very well done, indeed. I will miss these characters.

    23. This is the final book in the series. We start where book 2 ends. Allison is coming into her own and is fighting with all she has to make it right. This last book was full of action and emotions. You almost find yourself feeling sorry for some of the bad guys. I was happy to see how it all turned out for Allison and her loved ones but sad to see it all end. Reviewed by: Tara Greseth

    24. A Place Beyond was a great ending to a great trilogy. Once again I was sucked into Allison's story from page one. Laura's writing made me feel so many emotions through this story. I was feeling the character's sadness, love and everything between. Over all I was so happy to see Allison get her happy ending she really deserved it.

    25. This was a great ending to a great series. A place beyond is a quick easy read that starts off right where the last book ended. The Danaan trilogy is a must read and I look forward to reading future books from Laura Howard.

    26. You will be a believerWonderful love story, great plot twists with truly memorable characters all woven together with gossamer strands of magic. All I can say is Brava Laura Howard.

    27. I absolutely loved this series. This final book was amazing and my favorite of the 3n't get me wrong they were all great. I loved seeing how everything came together. Allison and Eathan's relationship is growingYAY! Also so glad to see more of Niamh and Aodhan. Great job Laura.

    28. Nice endingThis last book in the Canaan Trilogy wraps everything up nicely, albeit quickly. The ending came very quickly but leading up to it was the same fantasy tale we've been following since book 1. A good read!

    29. Thank you Laura Howard for completing Allison's story! You did an amazing job. It was the perfect ending. I was so saddened over Pop's death, but not totally surprised. You created a wonderful story.

    30. This whole trilogy was really good. Got the first for free then bought the trilogy so I could read the next two. Great story and characters.
