    1. Andrea, a Brigham Young University graduate, is an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast hiking, fishing, boating, biking, spending time in the Rocky Mountains, and taking walks She spent a year and a half serving the Spanish speaking community in Toronto, Canada, and fluently speaks 2 languages She plays several instruments, not including the banjo, and loves putting together musical arrangements Her favorite sports are basketball and football, though several knee surgeries and incurably awful coordination prevent her from playing them.Andrea is always in the mood for a good movie with close friends and family especially her husband and mom , with a large glass of milk and a bowl of overly buttered popcorn nearby She also enjoys oil painting, making earrings, squeezing every bit of oxygen out of Ziploc bags, and she hopes to someday travel to Italy and Alaska.

    2. In this ! Final! Installation of the series, Jacob and his friends work together to fight off evil once and for all. This series was tied up really really nicely. I enjoyed the fact that the war only took up part of the end as opposed to the entire book - it helped a lot, since I don't do fight scenes very well.Overall, I really enjoyed this series! I'm glad that I decided to pick up all of them at once, or else I probably would have hated myself in between books with the way they ended!I would r [...]

    3. The Golden Symbol is the sixth and final book in the Kilenya series. It’s action packed and just as exciting as all the others. The writing is excellent and my 8- and 10-year-old sons and I all enjoyed it. Even though I knew how it would turn out, there were times I wasn’t sure the ending would be at all happy. I highly recommend this book and the whole Kilenya series to kids and adults. It makes an excellent family read aloud!

    4. Over the last six books Jacob has grown up - a lot in less than a year. This final book in the series provides a suitable conclusion with an epic battle and suitable rewards for the winners. Jacob even manages to make the first steps in developing a relationship with - a girl. One or two dangling threads - but only the most finnicky nit-picker (me) is going to wonder how Jacob's family were able to settle in America so easily and stay under the radar so well for the boys to grow up and then drop [...]

    5. All good things must come to an end, and the Kilenya series has been a very good thing indeed. I'm not going to describe the plot, as others have done a good job doing so and I don't want to risk any spoilers, but things do indeed come together for a very satisfying conclusion. It's been a great (six book) run, and the finish is one that it deserved. Loads of fun and most definitely recommended for anyone who has been reading the Kilenya books.

    6. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. For this story I highly recommend reading all the books in a very quick succession. If you put this series down and pick it up again it will be hard on you. It was hard on me. I had to reread, because I was utterly confused about what happened when. But I recommend this for the amazing plot and character building that this author does!

    7. When I read the first of Andrea Pearson’s series, Kilenya, I was hooked and have been following her series for a few years. She took me on Jacob’s adventures where he learned that he was not originally from the planet earth, but was a prince of a place in another world. A place where the Lorkons had been trying to take control. He learned of powers he had no idea he possessed and was trained to use them. Jacob was the only one that could save the inhabitants that had yet to be controlled by [...]

    8. I started this book sooooo long ago and then, this summer, I set myself a goal to finish many of the series which I had begun and just never got around to completing. The challenge I faced with these is that I had been away from them for so long that I had forgotten who some of the characters were and their significance to the story line. Once I finally got back into reading this I couldn't put it down. I just had to know how things turned out. Throughout this entire series I've been amazed at t [...]

    9. The Golden Symbol, Book 6 – Kilenya SeriesI read this book in the box set series of books four through six.Since book 2 (or maybe even back in book 1), we’ve known that war was coming. And while there have been a number of skirmishes I each book, the big war finally occurs in this story. Jacob combines the use of his many magical abilities, but this is definitely not a one-person war from the good-guys side. So many of the characters contribute abilities, expertise, and creative thinking in [...]

    10. The final book in the Kilenya series. The final battle in the war between good and evil is resolved. A cure for the Lorkons is found and used. Some of the Makalas make a choice that affects not only their future, but the war as well. Jacob gains more abilities and power. This book also contains more light-hearted scenes.

    11. Another great book! The writing is great and it was hard to put down. This was a great way to end the series!

    12. Well, it's over, and I was not disappointed. Overall I thought this was a great YA series, and I would be interested to see what else this author comes out with.

    13. Wonderful! I'm sorry to see the end of this series. It has been a fun and adventurous journey. The "Key of Kilenya" is a great serieS for young and old alike.
