    1. Robert Hookey Is a well-known author, some of his books are a fascination for readers like in the The Bellman Chronicles book, this is one of the most wanted Robert Hookey author readers around the world.

    2. It is rare that I don't finish a book, but this was just not my cup of tea at all. I understand that this is a sarcastic commentary about people today, but this went beyond sarcasm to bitter and I didn't enjoy it.

    3. Just like having a conversation with a friend after work yes, a bit one sided, but Robert's style was so friendly that with each story or anecdote, he drew me in, so I coulld become part of the story.I enjoyed the story separations, which made it easy to stop and start again, reading in little spurts which is my usual style.I love the honest feelings he presented about the not so politically correct guests he had to work with. The stories were told in an easy friendly manner, engaging me in the [...]

    4. I thought my life was interesting. I am not going to tell you anything about this book because that would only spoil it - except to say it is a must read. After following his blog for a while I thought there were no surprises lefth !!!!People are a wonder. Both good and well, downright stupidly evil. Loved every part of it.

    5. I picked this up after reading an interview the author did with the Bloggess. I enjoyed his sense of humor and anticipated reading the actual book by him.I wasn't quite disappointed, but honestly I found the hilarious work stories to be more to my taste than the philosophical musing.

    6. I had the pleasure of reading The Hook's blog before he made this book and was so excited to see he did a book! This book was absolutely hilarious just like his blogs and I am anxiously awaiting more books from him!

    7. Some very funny stories, but the book could have been edited down to be much shorter. I started getting boored about half way through as many of the stories were very similar.

    8. I couldn't finish this book. It was a great concept but was just organized not very coherently so it was a bit frustrating to read.
