    1. I was born in Haiti and came to the United States at the age of seven It was challenging for me to adjust to a new country and to a new family After a few years, I began to adapt to this country and began to explore and admire what it had to offer me.At the age of thirty years young, I was forced to face the biggest obstacle of my life I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer While undergoing chemotherapy, I went back to college and received my master s degree in children s literacy It is now six years later and I am in full remission.I currently reside in Edison, New Jersey I am a preschool special education teacher, and I love and take great pride in my career Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiles on my student s faces as they overcome the challenges they face on a daily basis.I consider myself to be very successful, along with being extremely proud of where I came from I continue to remain humble and feel blessed with the people I surround myself with God, my family, and great friends In my spare time I love to work on my many arts and crafts projects, such as stained glass, card designing, writing children s books, and jewelry design One of these days, I hope that I complete the bucket list I made at the age of twenty one.

    2. It is the day after Christmas and Tyler is curious as to where Santa goes, now that he has finished his work. Tyler goes to each of his family members and asks them where they think Santa goes on vacation and each of the family members provide a different location. With each new location there is also a lesson on how to say hello with that county’s native tongue. There is even a pronunciation key in the back of the book.Children and adults everywhere will love this latest book by Elizabeth Roo [...]

    3. Rayne Queen Water Supplier of the World is a book about a spirited little girl, who dreams of being a queen. She goes on a journey to convince Dale the Dolphin, Bella the Butterfly, and others, that she is their queen. Rayne believes that she is rain, and supplies the world with water, but the animals do not believe her. Elizabeth Rooks has created an enjoyable children's book that subtly teaches the importance of rain. This book reminds me of Where the Wild Things Are, in the fact that Rayne an [...]

    4. Rayne by Elizabeth Rooks tell a story about a stubborn little girl by the name of Rayne. Rayne sets out in a journey to tell every living thing around her that she is the "Queen water supplier of the world!". Even though they laugh and make fun of her, she never gives up. I think this book is a great book for children to read. The morals behind it is a lesson well learned. Because even though Rayne is laughed at, she still looks forward for another day of adventure. I bought another book from th [...]

    5. Where does Santa Work by Elizabeth Rooks, is an adorable read about a boy Name Taylor and his search to find out the most troubling question in a kids mind (After the holidays mainly). My 5year old boy had me reading this book to him over and over agains. He loved it, as for me? I found this book to be a cute and nicely executed story. The way the author, used all of the specs and characteristics surrounding Santa and used it as example in Santa long list of possible jobs. Very well though out. [...]

    6. Where Does Santa Go On Vacation After Christmas is an adorable book about Tyler, a little boy who wonders where Santa goes after Christmas and imagines Santa visiting many faraway places including Japan and Italy. This is cute picture book that will take readers of all ages on a fun journey as Santa travels the World learning about new cultures and learning how to say Hello in different languages. In addition, Santa realizes how hard it is to travel the World as Santa so he tries to disguise him [...]

    7. My youngest child is still at an age where she is totally into believing in Santa Claus. So this book thrilled her. Everyone knows what Santa does in December on Christmas, but what else does he do throughout the rest of the year? With a familiar red hat the author takes us along to some of Santa's other occupations, like being a fireman and others. It was a very charming story and all the occupations the author went through have the common thread of helping others, often selflessly, which is wh [...]

    8. "Where Does Santa Work After Christmas?" is a delightful children's book about a boy named Tyler who is curious about what Santa does after his big moment of the year when he delivers presents to children all over the world. Author Elizabeth Rooks (elizabethrooks) takes Tyler and his friends imaginations all over with what they believe Santa does. 9. I still read children's book even though my own child is grown. It's like a different category of thought, to look at a lessons the way a child would learn them. This is lovely story, subtle too, about a girl who thinks she is the master of nature. And nature has a way of expressing it's contempt for arrogance.
