    1. Laurell K Hamilton is one of the leading writers of paranormal fiction A 1 New York Times bestselling author, Hamilton writes the popular Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter novels and the Meredith Gentry series She is also the creator of a bestselling comic book series based on her Anita Blake novels and published by Marvel Comics Hamilton is a full time writer and lives in the suburbs of St Louis with her family.

    2. Anita's story continuesThe first 5 books are still my favorites. Books 11-15 include all the regular characters plus many new ones. In my opinion, too much time spent on on relationship angst and sex, not enough focus on character development and plot. Not that this will slow me down as I continue the series because there are enough fascinating characters and plot twists to keep me hooked.

    3. I'm Obsessed!I love this book and the Anita Blake series. The plot is later with subplots and great characters. Each book takes you deeper into Anita's world ; I never want to leave.

    4. Always amazing!Anita's world is our world, with a twist. I know St. Louis and can picture where the action is taking place. I love that! If you're this far into the series and like me then they aren't characters anymore, they are, well, "people" that you know. Hamilton's ability to give us this totally believable world and this cast of characters that we know, some back to childhood, is a rare and remarkable gift. She's made me care about these people and I will say here that if anything ever ha [...]

    5. Typos.I reviewed each book individually, but read the omnibus, and the omnibus had typos. She seems to have an issue with homonyms. I can't remember the word I'm thinking of that specifically stood out so starkly, but it was an interesting substitution. Also, than/then. Meh.2016-03-23

    6. I love Anita but since I checked this out of the library I had to read the whole thing a nd I got a little burned out. I recommend reading them all but with a break in between.

    7. GoodLove this author! Can't wait to see what comes next. Hope she and Richard make it work one of these days
